Han Meng is the Founder and MD of ADL Capital Group which is engaged in Investment, Project
Development, Advisory and Asset Management activities in Asia. Principal areas of interest are in
the Clean Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure. ADLcap advises clients, projects and companies in
raising capital, co-invests alongside its clients and develops projects as principal and on behalf of
clients and manages projects, assets and investments on behalf of its clients and partners.
ADLcap advised on the 1st IPP in Myanmar, which was also the 1st project finance transaction
amongst a number of other firsts – a 120MW CCGT in Ahlone, Yangon; sponsored by a publicly-listed
company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. ADL, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, also
developed a broad range of infrastructure projects in Myanmar on behalf of an early-stage
infrastructure development programme funded by UKAid.
ADL currently is advising, developing and investing in a range of projects including rural micro-grids,
industrial mini-grids, a pan-Asian water treatment platform, a large-scale 250MW solar PV project,
an LNG Terminal and an ASEAN mini-hydro platform, amongst others, in Cambodia, Myanmar,
Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. ADL’s clients, partners and core reltionships include major
utilities, financial groups, investment companies, funds, family offices, EPC companies and local
developers and entrepreneurs.
Han Meng co-founded Nature Elements Capital in 2009, which managed a RMB 250m Renewable
Energy and Cleantech Fund in Chongqing, China. The Fund completed 6 investments in China largely
in the waste management and energy efficiency sectors of which all 6 have been exited since 2018.
He has a total of some 25 years of experience in Asia Pacific markets ranging across cross-border
M&A and advisory, private equity, fund management, investments and project development with
more than U$2.5 billion of transactional track record. Fund management experience includes USD
250m real estate development fund for Asia and an RMB 250m Renewable Energy and Cleantech
Fund in China.
